As I have mentioned in the Black & white & Sepia photography page, art is a great way to set a tone. With the red effect it is possible to give photos an unsettling and unwelcoming feeling. This effect can be used in horror artwork. What’s more I am already familiar with a few techniques sepia, black & white, white balance, spot healing and thought it would be great to develop a new photography skill: red. In order to achieve a red effect I used the Sepia technique with a small twist. That is to say I tweaked the reds, saturation and hue a bit.
